- Official No new patch today. 2K’s page still lists gameplay update v2.0 for October 8 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on October 16 — the same day Season 2 begins. - Community - verify The loudest overnight spike is a datamine claim that NBA 2K27 has a badge tier above Legend called Boss, with tuned values in the files that nobody’s MyPLAYER or current NBA card is said to hold. @JohnsGoated’s thread had about 643 likes when we checked, and @AyCartiii’s “there’s a badge tier above legend called Boss” post sat around 948 likes. 2K has not posted anything about Boss on the patch page — treat it as Community, verify, and we are not changing badge thresholds on CourtCraft. - Official Optimize still uses the Patch 2.0 (Oct 8, 2026) meta. Rise Up keeps the small Bronze/Silver boost and the Gold+ Sep 17 boost. No new official numbers landed today for contests, mid-range, steals, dunks, Takeovers, or badge tiers, and community datamines (Boss / GOAT Builds) don’t meet our bar for a weight or threshold change.
