Adrenaline-shooting research goes viral while LaMelo, Jokic and lockdown builds lead the Rec feed

  • Official Nothing new from 2K today. The latest entry on the patch page is still the unnumbered September 17 gameplay update (stronger contests, more reliable standing dunks, a better Rise Up at Gold and above, Steal rating rewarded on ball contact, standardized game speed). The last numbered update is still v1.5 (September 11). 2K has said a broader patch is coming before Season 2 but hasn’t put a date on it. (2K patch notes)

What the community is talking about

  • Community - verify BuilderLab2K posted a “9 things” research thread (about 465 likes) claiming each adrenaline boost you spend cuts the rating used for that shot by 10 points, and that hot and cold zones nudge it a few points either way. JerzFlow201’s repost of the same numbers is the most-liked 2K27 post we found (about 1.2K likes).   • Community - verify Frustration videos are still leading. Choc’s “2K HEARD US…” is up to about 68K views. ThE Book Of SwantE’s “keeps getting worse” is at about 23K, and LakerFan’s state-of-the-game talk is at about 22K. PrimeSebuary’s “needs a patch ASAP” has about 8.9K.   • Community - verify On r/NBA2k, one player says their 86 3PT builds have a much smaller green window than their 83 builds. Another thread asks whether the “ghost patch” videos are real.
